Important note to prospective graduate students: If you are interested in working with me, please apply directly to Harvard's PhD programs, preferably both to our Economics program (even if your background is not in economics, as long as you are interested in either economics or the intersection between economics and computer science) and to either our Computer Science or our Applied Mathematics program, and include me among the faculty you list in your application. This is the best way to ensure that I see your application, since it is unfortunately infeasible for me to reply to all the emails that I get regarding advising.
